Marie has been with Gateway Northwest Maternal and Child Health Network since January 1, 2004, and has been involved for the last 20 years in conference planning and coordination in a variety of staff, volunteer and administrative roles. These include MCH staff development at the then Memorial Hospital of Burlington County in Mt. Holly, NJ (1984-1987), volunteer member of the NAACOG( now AWHONN) NJ Section Education Committee (1984-1991) and volunteer member of the NAACOG National Committee on Education (1986-1988). As the executive director of the Northwest NJ Maternal and Child Health Network (1988-2003), she was responsible for overseeing the development of a comprehensive regional professional education program, including administrtion of the provider unit and filling in whenever the nurse educator position was vacant. Marie graduated from Felician College (Lodi, NJ) with an associate's degree in Nursing magna cum laude in 1974 and with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing summa cum laude in 1983. She also graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master's of Science degree in Perinatal Nursing in 1984. Marie has been certified in Inpatient Obstetrics through the National Certification Corporation since 1980.
