Naomi Savitz
Director, Quality Assurance

Naomi joined Gateway in September 2000 as Director, Quality Assurance. Prior to joining Gateway, she was a Planning Associate at a healthcare strategic planning and information system consulting firm. Naomi earned a MPH from UMDNJ School of Public Health.
Naomi co-manages, with colleague Ruth Brogden, the Regional Electronic Birth Certificate (EBC) Database. Together they provide one-on-one support to EBC end-users at member facilities and organize regional EBC workshops. The workshops occur on a semi-annual basis to explain the purpose for, content and operation of the EBC software, as well as emphasizing the importance of data quality and the application of EBC data in Public Health. Other responsibilities include: composition of the Gateway Regional Plan, grant writing, data support of Gateway programs, State Hearing program data, composition of Annual Data Plan, and oversight of the TQI committee.
